Andy is currently the Vice Chairperson of the Taiwan Fair Trade Commission (TFTC). Previously, he held the position of Commissioner at the TFTC from 2007 to 2010. In February 2021, Andy rejoined the TFTC after serving as a law professor at the School of Law, Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan from 2010 to January 2021. During this time, he also served as the dean of the law school from 2019 to 2021. Andy holds law degrees from National Taiwan University (LL.B.), Soochow University (Taiwan, LL.M.), Duke University (LL.M.) and Northwestern University (Doctor of Juridical Science; SJD). He has published extensively on antitrust and regulatory issues in both Chinese and English, primarily from an economic analysis perspective.

Thomas Cheng is a professor at the University of Hong Kong. He has written extensively on competition law in developing countries and on the competition law of a number of Asian jurisdictions, including Hong Kong, China, and Japan. He has published two monographs, Competition Law in Developing Countries and The Patent-Competition Interface in Developing Countries, with Oxford University Press. In 2022, he was named by Global Competition Review, a leading competition law publication, as one of the 25 most influential antitrust academics in the world.

Thomas Weck works on EU market regulation in the EU and from a comparative perspective, with a particular focus on digital and financial markets. Until joining Frankfurt School, he was Lead Analyst at the Monopolies Commission in Bonn (2012-2022) and previously also worked at British and an American law firms in Brussels (2007 to end 2012). Prof. Weck is Member of the Academic Society for Competition Law.
