Sonnenberg 교수는 20개 이상의 국가와 다양한 상황에서 인권 문제를 다루어 왔습니다. 현재는 한반도와 관련된 인권 문제를 특히 집중적으로 연구하고 있으며, 인권과 신기술, 기업의 책임과 책무(ESG), 탈북민의 권리, 그리고 한국의 격동적이면서 비극적인 20세기 역사에서 비롯된 다양한 과도기적 정의에 관한 문제들을 다루고 있습니다. 또한, Sonnenberg 교수는 아시아 태평양 지역에서 나타나는 강제 이주와 기후 변화와 관련된 문제에도 관심을 가지고 있습니다. Sonnenberg 교수는 하버드 로스쿨에서 법학박사(JD)를, Fletcher School에서 법학 및 외교학 석사(MA)를, 브라운 대학교에서 학사(BA) 학위를 취득했습니다.
Stephan Sonnenberg is an Associate Professor and Director of the Human Dignity Clinic as well as the Difficult Conversations Clinic at Seoul National University School of Law. He is also a Senior Affiliated Supervisor with the University Network for Human Rights. Stephan previously taught at Harvard and Stanford Law Schools, as well as at Bhutan’s only law school, the Jigme Singye Wangchuck School of Law, where he served as Associate Dean of Experiential and Clinical Legal Education. Stephan’s academic and clinical work focuses on the intersections between human rights, development, and dispute resolution.
He has worked on human rights issues in upwards of 20 countries and a variety of contexts. Much of his current work focuses on human rights issues of particular concern to the Korean Peninsula, including issues related to human rights and emerging technologies, corporate responsibility and accountability (ESG), the rights of persons who resettled from North to South Korea, and various unsettled transitional justice issues arising from Korea’s turbulent and tragic 20 th century history. He is also working on issues related to involuntary migration and climate change, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. Stephan holds a JD from Harvard Law School, a MA in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School, and a BA from Brown University.

Myoungshin Kim is currently a Principal Policy Officer at LG AI Research. He is also an IEEE CertifAIEd™Authorized Lead Assessor. Previously, he worked as a Senior Programme Specialist at the Korean National Commission for UNESCO, where he was part of the South Korean delegation involved in the entire development process of the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of AI. Myoungshin has also served as an adjunct professor at Sungkyunkwan University and as a policy advisor for the Ministry of Unification and the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, Republic of Korea. His work and research interests lie at the intersection of AI, ethics, and policy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, a Master’s degree in International Commerce, and a PhD in North Korean Studies.

Petra Molnar is a lawyer and anthropologist specializing on the impacts of migration technologies on people crossing borders. She co-runs the Refugee Law Lab at York University and the Migration and Technology Monitor, which funds community grounded projects on border tech. He was a software engineer and product manager before practicing law. He has a JD from UC Berkeley Law and a BA from Georgetown University.
