이은주 교수는 서울대학교 사회과학대학 언론정보학과 교수로서, 최근 연구로는 사람들이 언제 그리고 어떠한 이유로 허위정보에 속게 되는지, 조작된 정보에 어떻게 맞서 대응해야 하는지, 나아가 AI와 같은 기술 발전이 커뮤니케이션 과정과 결과에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 등을 다루고 있습니다. 이은주 교수는 국제 학술지 Media Psychology 공동편집위원장(2014-2015)을 거쳐 Human Communication Research 편집위원장(2017-2020)을 역임하였으며, 2019년 국제커뮤니케이션학회(ICA) 석학회원(Fellow)으로 선정되어 ICA 회장(2023-2024)을 역임하였습니다. 이은주 교수는 서울대학교 학사·석사 및 미국 스탠포드 대학교 커뮤니케이션학 박사 학위를 취득하였습니다.
Eun-Ju Lee is a Professor of Communication at Seoul National University. Her recent work addresses when and why people fall for misinformation and how to combat false information, as well as how technological advancements, most notably artificial intelligence (AI), alter communication processes and effects. She has co-edited Media Psychology (2014-2015) and served as the Editor-in-Chief of Human Communication Research (2017-2020). She was inducted as a Fellow of the International Communication Association (ICA) in 2019 and has served as its President (2023-2024). She received her PhD from Stanford University and her BA and MA from Seoul National University.

Alice Budisatrijo leads Meta’s misinformation policy work in APAC, and is based in Singapore. In her capacity, she develops Meta’s misinformation and fact checking policies. Prior to Meta, she was a journalist for BBC News. She has a master’s degree in public policy from University of Oxford, where she was a Chevening scholar.

Holbert 교수는 120편 이상의 저널 논문, 저서의 저자 또는 공저자로서 국제커뮤니케이션학회(ICA)의 석학회원(Fellow)이자 Journal of Communication 전 편집장을 역임하였습니다.
R. Lance Holbert (Ph.D., University of Wisconsin-Madison, 2000) is a research professor and director of the Leonore Annenberg Institute for Civics (LAIC) within the Annenberg Public Policy Center. Holbert is a quantitative social scientist whose scholarship has focused on media, politics, and persuasion. The author or co-author of more than 120 peer-reviewed journal articles, books or book chapters, Holbert is also a fellow of the International Communication Association and a former editor-in-chief of the Journal of Communication.

Dongwon Lee is a Computer Scientist working in the Information School (IST) at Penn State University, USA. He is also an ACM Distinguished Scientist (2019) and a Fulbright Cybersecurity Scholar (2022). In general, he researches problems at the nexus of data science, AI, and cybersecurity, and recently focuses on the computational and socio-technical issues surrounding generative AI, deepfakes, and mis/disinformation.

Tandoc Jr. is President’s Chair Professor of Communication Studies at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, where he is the Associate Chair for Research at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI). He is also the founding Director of NTU’s Centre for Information Integrity and the Internet (IN-cube). His studies have focused on the impact of journalistic roles, new technologies, and audience feedback on the news gatekeeping process. He has also looked at how readers make sense of critical incidents in journalism and take part in reconsidering journalistic norms; and how changing news consumption patterns facilitate the spread of fake news.

Jason Kwon is the Chief Strategy Officer at OpenAI, overseeing policy, legal, and social impact research teams. He was a software engineer and product manager before practicing law. He has a JD from UC Berkeley Law and a BA from Georgetown University.
